N.H. House Speaker Dick Hinch died of covid one week after being elected

One week later, Hinch, 71, was found dead in his home. The state’s chief medical examiner found Hinch’s cause of death was covid-19, New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald (R) announced Thursday.

Hinch’s death has left Democratic legislators demanding tests for representatives and their staff who attended last week’s ceremony, and some Republicans castigating their colleagues for not following basic public health guidelines.

At a news conference Thursday, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu (R) lauded Hinch as a “tireless leader” and described him as a close friend, calling his death a “cautionary tale” about the costs of failing to wear a mask. Home Depot adds home decor to its online inventory as coronavirus spurs growth in DIY projects

The Home Depot, known for its home improvement products, is investing heavily into its online decor business as an increasing number of homeowners rapidly turn to DIY projects.

Its HD Home assortment includes interior furniture, wall décor, home accents, housewares, tableware and even cookware, which are all offered online, according to the retailer. The products are designed for people to complete their projects and rooms, Home Depot said, adding that its seen tremendous growth in its decor assortment.
